Increased demand for our services means that an exciting opportunity has arisen for another Automotive Product and Finance specialist to join our Strategy and Insight team. Primarily (but not exclusively) working within the B2B Fleet market, you will know how to find, research and interpret relevant legislative, governance, taxation, marketing offers, product, price and competitor information to provide the teams and client with summarised, product information and insight to use for unique and differentiated customer engagement across a variety of platforms and tools.
You will be responsible for the QA of product information, ensuring that accurate, qualified and validated vehicle information, technical and finance related data is correct when published. This will include checking and calculating the impact of environmental data such as CO2 emissions data on Tax and benefit data as well as calculating leasing rates for a variety of purchase options.
When the need arises, you will additionally provide consultancy for content/data solutions and tools, working alongside the development teams to ensure that the necessary calculations for tax, benefits or pricing work correctly and are accurate.

Essential

High level of accuracy

Background in vehicle finance, preferably B2B Fleet finance

An advanced level of mathematical understanding

Confident with Microsoft Excel, particularly macros and V Look Up

Analytical mind, good level of observation and an eye for detail

Demonstrably accurate proof reading ability

Solid understanding of data protection legislation

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Demonstrable adaptability and willingness to learn

Good written and verbal communication skills both internal and client facing

Automotive knowledge and brand awareness, including market trends

Understanding of importance of document/version control procedures

Good computer skills and literacy
An active interest in cars and automotive brands is an advantage as is an understanding of how to use data and relational/databases and information modelling
Core Responsibilities

Product and Market Information: You will ensure the quality and accuracy of product information within a marketing context.
-
Identifying and using trusted sources of product and market information
(i.e. product attributes, pricing, finance, legislation, governance and compliance) you will validate and approve marketing content to ensure that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date. -
And provide product and competitor insight to identify key product information to differentiate the offer and the target customers. For instance, identifying the key differentiators on a particular vehicle or range that make it an attractive proposition when compared to its competitors, to a Fleet buyer of a certain size and type.

Data Marketing Tools: When required. you will work with the team to scope data driven tools that help prospects and customers define the service(s) and product(s) best suited to their needs and requirements.

Define the market opportunity for digital tools

Work with the Development Team and Digital Team on solutions scoping

Assess the feasibility of delivering digital tools based on the data sets required and the associated risks (e.g. data quality)

Provide an advisory and support service for Clients on tools that answer market challenges and opportunities (current and future).

Assist in scoping the maintenance and support required for tools in association with data feeds and data dependencies.

Assist with the Risk Log of digital tools

Providing an advisory and support services to Account Services, Development and Client Teams

Regular updates of market and automotive positioning

Data Governance and Process
-
Manage your responsibilities in the data purchase process where the client requests the purchase of additional marketing lists to augment their data.

Be responsible for researching marketing list/data providers and the relevancy, quality and quantity of the marketing lists they can provide.

GDPR compliance of bought in data, acquired data and customer data management where this falls within your remit, in line with policy and governance, working the Data Protection Team where necessary.

Campaign and Customer Insight: Using Insight and analytical tools you may be asked to generate trends reports that drive continuous improvement through measurement and optimisation.

Metrics (inc. social, web, offline, multi-channel)
